In this pos, I would like to share with you an artwork that I created and has a very deep meaning. This shows that many things that look joyous from the outside, may not feel the same way from the inside.
This sketch depicts the isolation faced by this young lady. She is seen covering her face with her hat to hide within herself as that is the one safe space she has discovered. However, that safe space is very vulnerable as it can be exposed to the outer world.
The use of a few pop-up bright colours on the hat and clothes shows how this lady has hope within her and believes that one day, she would be accepted as she is.
Just like her, there are many humans in the world who look like they have the perfect life, from the outside, however people don't know what they face and judge them by their cover.
